To be honest, until I had just found that out using google... I did not know that there were such systems with the hardware capability to support that much ram. My assumption is that it is primarily for server's that run massive networks or websites, but it is still a lot.

so will window read the full amount of ram the computer has and use all of it? what about windows xp?

and for a 64 bit os it'll be like 16 gigs, correct? because of the memory addressing for it? but will windows xp use all 4 gb? my coworker told me 3.25
