you should join the air force as a female if you qualify, your quality of life will be leagues ahead of any junior enlisted sailor. I see sailors regularly and my step brother was one, I'm a marine and if you are looking for good treatment on top of military benefits the air force is the way to go hands down. As for grooming standards after bootcamp youll be able to have longer feminine hair in both the navy and air force. They may shave it in bootcamp though.
