My grandmother died on the 8th.She wanted to be cremated and buried in the urn..she didnt want  a wake or funeral or any of that.
So I thought we should have a get together memorial type deal, at my grandpa's house.. just the family around talking about her and remembering her..it should be in a few weeks when its nicer our so we can have it outside.
im thinking about making some cool stuff to have around and idk exactly what but stuff.
any idea what type of things i can do to help remember her by?
thank you very much.

Well, I think it depends. I do think what you're doing is so very special and lovely, and I think it's a really nice idea. As for what things to have around to remember her by, well, it depends on who she was, really. I can't help a great deal, because I didn't know her, but I do have a few ideas. Firstly, what are some things that remind you and others of her? And what were some of her most favourite things? Think about those things, and see if you can do anything with that. You could also round up some photographs, some really special ones and some really good ones of her (add in a few funny ones, to lighten the mood and help people remember her in such a very enjoyable way) and you could always make some sort of collage, y'know?

I honestly think you should just think about things personal to you, her and the family. The wee things that will make you all smile while you remember, y'know? I'm sorry for you loss but, again, I think what you're doing is a really nice idea.
