Hi - this could for a number of reasons. It's very possible you were still tender from being on your period a few days before. Bleeding during sex isn't totally unnatural and it's not always a sign that something's wrong. Was your boyfriend being more violent or a bit rougher than normal? That could also have caused bleeding, as could a new position that neither of you are used to. Aside from that, I'm not sure what could be causing it, but I honestly don't think it's anything you need to worry about :)
