I was just reading the news and I found one about a drunk man beating his pregnant woman in the belly with his foot. He got 2 months of conditional discharge. Do you think that's fair?

I don't think there are many chances for a fetus to survive after its mother has been beaten with a foot...
But yes, criminals get way too little punishment in Estonia. You kill someone, go to jail for 3 years or something and only sit there for 1,5 cus short investigation takes off some time and besides that you get out earlier for good behavior. That's pretty much how it works here... Comparing to what we have here, America has very harsh punishments. That's one thing I like about the US.
