Well i'm living with my parents right now and i'm expecting my baby in august.  My house is already overcrowded but my mum says i can stay here.  I can't move into my boyfriends flat when the baby comes because he can't keep it as the council are demolishing those houses to make way for something else.  I could get a house from the council but i don't have an income and my boyfriend just doesn't make enough money.  Never mind the cost of decorating and things plus the new baby has already burned a hole in the spending budget for us.  So my prob is my mum says there is no room for my bf here.  My baby needs a dad so what do i do take the house and really really struggle or do i stay at mine and the baby lives separate from his or her dad.  I just dont know what to do.

Sounds like you should of had safe sex, since you're clearly not ready for a child.

You and your boyfriend need to find a one bedroom flat for cheap. You can't be too picky, since you have no other option. Do you have a job? That would make things a whole lot better.

Oh wait, you didn't have the child yet. I thought you did, so you can't really get a job.

Hmm.

I do have a job but it doesn't pay well at all, same with my b/fs.  I'm so panicky about getting everything ready.

I think you should just stay with your parents and let your boyfriend worry about getting a flat for now. As much as I hate to say this, you can't worry about your boyfriend at the moment. You need to think about your child first.

Once he gets his shit straightened out, then maybe you guys can work something out. So, why wouldn't he be part of the child's life if he didn't live with you? I'm sure he would be over a lot seeing his child and what not.

Won't the council re-house your boyfriend? Pretty sure they have to. The flats my parents were staying in when I was born was demolished and they were moved. There are also some flats just down the road from me that are getting demolished, and everyone who was living in them has been moved. They can't just leave your boyfriend homeless.

Also, the council won't leave you homeless with a wee one on the way. They really won't. Go see them, perhaps? I understand you don't have an income, so perhaps you'll have to go on benefits and get emergency accommodation.
