What is the longest, good book you have ever read.

I read roots in my 7th grade gifted class, and I have never been more grateful to a teacher for making me read a book. Thats saying a lot seeing as it a 700+ page book and I was only in 7th grade. Another long book that I read was Uncle Tom's Cabin. I read that last year. These books made me become more interested in my heritage, so I guess thats why they kept my interest. What are some good, long books that you have read.

The Count of Monte Cristo was 1462 pages.

I quite regularly read books that are 700+.

I've read Count of Monte Christo as well. However, Musashi is longer, I think. I was twelve when I read it.

Soul on Ice is the most recent good book I've read but I think its well under 700 pages somewhre around 300. But damn Eldridge cleaver's view on life makes me want to parade the streets.
