Well most Americans are very smart. I too have seen these movies trying to make all Americans look stupid. How did they get to be the greatest country on earth if there stupid? Why does nearly all countries teach English in school? Becuase America is a key player in the World.

are you from America? if not, i suggest you shut your fucking mouth hater. how would you know what our education systems are like? my school for instance has an awesome curriculum and we learn just as much as you. also, don't make generalizations because some Americans, like myself, have a lot of knowledge about other places. and i have personally traveled all over Europe and Africa, so i think my geographical skills are just fine(:

If you've never been where he is how do you know you learn as much as he does?

But do they know where Albania is??? That is the real question.

Most Americans have never heard of Albania, well recently some might have heard of Kosovo and Albania. Still Albania is not very well known it's small. Like Luxemborg or Malta who knows about these places? not a lot of people.

I do, all of those. Even been to Malta once. But then again, I'm not American, so I'm guessing I don't count.

You know your geography. Europeans have greater geographical knowledge then Americans. Europeans learn about geography since an early age. Americans well they don't. They just cover basic geography in the United States of America.
By the way what language do they speak in Malta not Spanish or Italian no?

No no, I spoke English when I was there, but there's also Maltese.

Indeed, some Americans don't know much about geography. The ones who don't know the most basic of things always astound me.

I consider myself to have a very broad knowledge of the world. My parents pushed the importance of world awareness on me at an early age. They always said that ignorance breeds hostility, and heaven knows, the world is a violent enough place as it is.

I like talking to people from other countries and asking them about how they live. I don't like to sound too encroaching, but usually they don't mind my questions.

I kind of want to work for the UN when I get older. (Say what you will about the usefulness of the organization atm)

I guess I'm different than most, though.

Americans stupid? hmm lets see. Lightbulb, computer, internet, assembly lines, first to fly a real airplane,First to have a nucular bomb, first to make stealth tech on fighter aircraft, phonograph (recordplayer),richest country in the world, made the English language the current lneternationl language, first on the moon. That is just to name a few, but you can see where im going with that. If Americans where stupid how would they did all of that? Hell even if we didnt know geography (which we do) i would rather not know geography and invet all of those great things.
