It's the dumbing down of America. America's education system needs to improve and to better educate her citizins.
America has over 50 capitals.....how many from europe could name all of them
*raises hand* I can. I don't know the exact location of all the capitals, and sometimes I confuse the states in the middle of the country, but I know their capitals and a lot of the major cities.

It isn't their fault, it's their society's fault. The culture places less emphasis on educating and motivating their children, and more on material goods, entertainment and working to get material goods. This is evident by the fact that there's so little government funding for schooling, when the military is blown way out of proportion, criminal corporations are basically given free reign because they FUND the government, and the gap between the poor and wealthy gets wider by the year. They don't WANT their kids to be educated, because if they're educated, maybe, JUST MAYBE, they might have the sense not to continue to bow to their corporate masters.
well spoken I fucking hate those corporate masters. But, in this society, they make it so fucking hard not to give in to it.

No, they make it impossible. They make it impossible for us over here to not play into it (thank you, global economy), albeit we're a bit better off about it.
I feel bad for Americans, really. Even the ones that are really dedicated to the lie. They're fed all this stuff from birth.

are you from America? if not, i suggest you shut your fucking mouth hater. how would you know what our education systems are like? my school for instance has an awesome curriculum and we learn just as much as you. also, don't make generalizations because some Americans, like myself, have a lot of knowledge about other places. and i have personally traveled all over Europe and Africa, so i think my geographical skills are just fine(:
