like I know the grand-ma of a buddy who can't speak English at all and she came here from Vietnam in 1975. And I know a cambodian guy who sells donuts who can barely speak English. And same with the dad of another buddy whos Chinese and they been here 20 years.

No, we don't have a duty to learn another language, although learning the second most widely spoken language in the country is helpful. But we do have a duty to respect other people rather than harass them for not making our lives easier. So you may not understand what they're saying, but being an asshole to them isn't helping their situation or yours.

Please, direct them towards some one who can help them or walk away and quit your bitching.
