It shouldn't be embarrassing. They happen to most women at some point in their life, and sometimes not even from having sex. Basically they ask what symptoms you've got, they ask you to pee in a cup, and they give you antibiotics.
You can have sex, but it'll be painful.
Drink a TON of water, don't drink anything sugary. Take a Tylenol for the pain
