Well i myself am 23 going on 24 and my fiance is 19 when we first started dating i was 21 she was 17 i dont consider age to be much of a difference although i do consider my fiance to be mature for her age... but on the same note as someone said earlier i do agree after 20+ the age difference matters less compared to the teenage years due to the mass amount of changes one goes through during 12 to 19 but with that said no offense to anyone who may partake in this but people who engage in relationships with a 30 or even 40 years difference really tend to creep me out a bit lol

it shouldnt matter if the ages r liek 3 years apart but like if ur say 34 dating a 19 year old OH YEA thats a matter that would have to be thought about.

Age is really just a number. My neighbour has a wife who is 19 years younger than him. She's 27 and he's 46, and they get on well. My best friend went out with someone 5 years older than her. So yep, age really is just a number i suppose.

sometimes its not a good idea to date a guy way older than you.
but depends really.. when i was 13 i dated a guy that was 17.
a lot of my friends think it really weird that i date 17-18 year olds (im 15 now)
but personally i dont have a problem with it.
jus do whatever u feel comfortable with!

i guess age isnt a big thing in my opinion. Now I dont go over 2 years, thats just gross. But that is just my opinion. And in my opinion (her friend) that if you're 18, and your going out with someone that hasnt even hit puberty yet, there's something wrong with you!!!! And yes going out with someone younger shows how mature you really are.
