I am currently taking medication for bi polar disorder called lamotrigine. I have a really bad soar throat and I want to take some over the counter medicine but IDK if it will interfere with that. I was wondering if anyone knows anything at all about my medication and whether or not it is safe to do so. Even though its my medication I know very little about it except it is used for bi polar disorder and for seizures. <- dont have that one. Thank you

It depends entirely on which OTC medicine it is because their ingredients vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. I wouldn't think it would, but in these cases it's best to contact your doctor directly and ask them. They'd know definitely and would be able to give you proper medical advice. From my quick search on the Gold Standard Clinical Pharmacology guide I didn't find anything specifically related to cough suppressants or throat medication. I'd still advise you to contact your doctor if you're not sure. It's better to be safe than sorry.
