I believe the Trans Am is only a v8 optioned F-Body, the 3.8L V6 would only be a Firebird.

Gah...
Lets not get technical now.
Seeing as the Trans Am is actually the performance model for the Firebird, its falsely saying you own a true performance car when you only have a V6 firebird

^ This is a twin turbo 3800 Firebird. Maybe it will change your mind. So what, 200 horsepower.. The way I see it, you get the looks of the fast car, and the fuel economy and reliability of the L36 V6.
The 3800 V6 is a very good engine, responds nicely to mods, there's a BIG aftermarket for it.. Not the size of the LSx aftermarket, but there's a LOT of places.

So... do these come stock?
Are they like a package thing you could buy at the time from the dealer?
Keep in mind, it takes a LOT of money to modify any car no matter the platform you're working with.
You're 16 years old, you really don't need 300+ horsepower at any length. Plus, it's your first car.. You're likely gonna mess it up. God knows I messed my cars up, I still do

All aftermarket, meaning it's all custom modification.
By the way, don't think we're bashing on you .. We're just stating facts. You do not want a nice car like that for your first ride.. shit always happens whether you back into someone or some stupid shit happens.

Ay bro...
Who said it's my first car?
I have a 04 wrangler right now but the parents want it back and decided I could have this.
Most likely the only thing I'll do to it is a K and N air filter.
i didn't know, i figured you being 16, it'd be your first.
there's faster cars out there for cheaper, that are bigger, and get better mileage
a few of the offerings..Keep in mind, these cars all have the same V6 as the firebird in the video, and the v6 firebird, they're just front wheel drive but much cheaper to insure, maintenance is the same price.
However, these ones have superchargers (certain models.) and have 240 horsepower out of the box. Can be had for cheap (less than 10k) most of them.
Pontiac GTP 1997-2003 Buick Regal 1997-2003 (This one below has mustang wheels on it, and the guy is running 390+ horsepower) Pontiac Bonneville 1996-1999
^ This car above, is the one in the video below.. He's got some mods done. Keep in mind this is your typical "grandma car" and nobody will think about it holding a can of whoopass under the hood.
