Yeah, I've always wanted to go into the chemistry and physics area of science, so today I kinda narrowed it down. In Physics, we were given a list of careers that alone could get us. They were quite sweet, to say the least.
Material Physics
Medical Physics
Engineering
Geographical Physics
And of course many other area's, such as Computer design, CAD etc. I saw Material physics, and I heard her mention "building/designing cars, planes, trains etc.". This got me interested.
Then in Chemistry, I had a wake up also.
The main area of Chemistry I've wanted to go into, is possibly pharmacutical medicine, or Demolition.
The teacher mentioned the word: "Desiging bombs, demolishing buildings, torpedos, rocket fuel etc.
I was struck by the words: Bombs + destruction.
Thanks to the fact that I am doing both Physics and Chemistry, this area is wide open to me (provided my results are good, which they should, as I have already started to improve my learning)
So yes, today I learned that the following area's are what I will decide from: Destruction, Renewable energy sources, Computer design, Medicine, Material Physics or possibly Geographical Physics. I should be talking to my carrer guidance teacher sometime anyway, so yeah.
Only thing is, I need to have at least a 'B' in higher level science to get into Chemistry, and my results are coming out on the 10th of September. But I've more than likely got that, seeing as I got an 'A' in my pre-exams. Let's hope I got another 'A' in the real thing lol.
This was my random topic for the day
