I stopped writing poetry about 5 years ago, but a sense of suicide reaches my thoughts, and these words just came to me. Gimme your opinions if u please. Moving at a fast pase and in circular motions,
It begins to caress my body, my mind, and my soul,
taking complete control of me and my thoughts.
The dark tide is what I breathe, what I think, what gives me sanity,
and because of that, it will never leave me alone.
It haunts me during the day, and plays with me at night.
And so I patiently wait for the day it finally gets a hold of me.
I wait for the day when we become a part of the past.
As I lay, I can see it creeping about the corners in my room.
A black shadow amid the night,
Looking for its next victim.
I raise my hand.
"Take me away," I say.
"I'm begging you to take me away"
