This isnt really true, if you steam your face you get more spots because your pores are left completely open, alot of people stupidly put moisturiser on after they steam their face, this only makes problems worst. If you are going to steam your face you should use icecubes straight after.

Im not going to go into detail but this ideology is actually proven to be bad for your skin. When you see people with huge open pours.. like circles with black dots inside. They are not blackheads, this is where they either use steamer too much, wash their face too much or exfoliate too much. Stay away from the steamer.
