Like two years ago I asked the question "Why gays are not openly welcomed into the military"

Now after joining the army and going through all the training and seeing what it is like I realized that everyone who posted back with good advise was full of shit. No one knows what they are talking about on here. So lets try this again. Why do you think gays are not openly welcomed into the Armed Forces.

lol, I was in the military too, and I was an 11B aka Infantry. Gays will never be accepted in the infantry, end of story.

^this. The majority of men are straight. Therefore it would cause disturbances and discomfort among these straight men if gays were open about their sexuality. And that is not something the military can afford.
