If you did anything sexual it would be statutory rape so I think he may be to old for you. You didn't obey what your Mom told you and that's why she doesn't want you to see him at all. You should have waited for when your Mom allowed you to see him.

i have parents like that too mom always mentions god for everything but anyways it was wrong for her to read your messages and its not wrong for her to not like this guy look at the age difference your mom could easily call the police and say it was rape because youre not the legal age or w.e but i did the same.. i was 16 he was 21 and we went out on the low.. you should do that and if the relationship lasts until youre 18 even better your mom cant say anything
