i think for asian its harder bec theres less of us. im not full asian im mixed so theres even less of ppl like me! but i think the hardest for asians is that they always told to be quiet and polite so ppl step all over them. just forget about the stupid haters and be yourself.

And I'm sorry, but speaking up on an internet forum doesn't count.  If you want respect, stand up straight, speak your mind, above all, don't take people so seriously.  If someone knows treating you like shit is going to really get to you (and that you likely won't do anything but fume), they're going to take advantage.  Don't let that crap get to you.  Laugh it off.  Once they see that they aren't getting the effect they want, they'll eventually get bored.
