Who here has a small rule or habit that they go by regularly?

For me, I hate having shoes on if I'm in a bedroom. I usually tell people who enter mine to take their shoes off.

Because my shower makes a scary noise when it gets turned on, and I get scared.

I hate having doors open.
Like, if no-one's in the room, or if no-one's passing through or whatever. I fucking hate it. Especially my bedroom door, when I'm sleeping.

In my house, we're not allowed to touch the walls, lol.
It's kinda weird, but it's my mom's rule.

And I lock all the windows in my house every night.
I can't go to sleep unless I do.

I read the label of prepackaged food three or four times before I eat it. I don't usually eat it if I can't read the label.

I don't like shoes to touch any sort of furniture.

Left side of closet must always be closed - right side must always be open. I have to keep both sides of my body equal so if someone touches my right shoulder I have to touch the left, then touch my hands together twice [underside of knuckles of each hand must touch palm of other hand] and then I mutter "symmetry" because I used to say it to explain why I was doing it and now it's habit. After I count in my head or aloud I repeat it silently over and over until it feels right in my mouth. No doors are allowed to be left open even the slightest bit. With cupboard in my kitchen that are two doors to a compartment, each has to be open the same amount of time and they both have to close at the same impact level. Before I use plates, cups, spoons etc I have to smell them. When walking my weight has to feel equally distributed between the feet. When in the car and there's shadows on the road - I picture the car tipping on it's side so each wheel goes over the same amount of shadow. The volume on tv must always be set in 5s [5,10,15,20...]

Fuck, it goes on.
