Taking medicine doesn't mean you're a freak! Millions of people take meds!! And if the medication helps you feel not so miserable then it's a good thing, right?
Unless...it just doesn't help. In which case, maybe try a different one.

You won't be a 'freak', you'll just be giving up your emotional independence. If you want to take them, take them, if you don't, don't. I suggest researching both sides of the story though.
