Okay so I have recently become friends with this guy who has always known a mutual friend of ours. However, I think that the two of us might have a romantic connection. For instance he gives me more physical attention than the other girls that we hang out with and he seems interested in what I have to say. Some examples of the physical attention are sitting as close to me as possible and getting upset if another guy sits next to me, saying things like "she's mine", and grabbing on to my arm. Also one night I dropped him off at his house and he watched me as I drove away. However, I recently mentioned to our mutual friend that this guy had been acting "weird" towards me. Then this friend told the guy that what I had said and asked if he was interested in me. To this, the guy said no. Now, I'm not sure if he was just put off because I described his actions as "weird" or if he really isn't interested. If it's the latter then why does he act the way he does? Is he just leading me on? Thank you so much for your help.
Oh and just to add, the guy that we are mutual friends with used to really like me, but the relationship never went anywhere.

Since the mutual friend is a guy i dont think the guy would tell your friend if he liked you.
