Whats up with that? That is what everyone here does, I would think that a secluded place would be better. Then again possesing small amounts of marijuana in NY only gives you a fine, so that might be why everyone is more 'open' about it.

If its under an ounce, they will just have you through it away.

Alot of people smoke in the parks and that here, because they dont want their house/yard to smell of it.

No one cares in the public parks, so its not a big deal.

They have let my friend go with a quarter on him before.  Put him in the cop car and the cop had it and everything, gave it back to my friend.  Of course he was picked up in an area where heroin and I'm pretty sure meth show up a lot;  like I said, they could care less about weed.
