Because the Nazi's certainly did not put into action many welfare programs so that they could gain popular support, oh wait, yes they did. It was called National Socialism for a reason, they worked to expand welfare. Although they would cut it off if anyone acted against them. So can you make a better argument for this, and show me evidence that the Nazi's got rid of welfare but be warned, you will not find much. History does not work in the favor of this argument. They were called national socialist party because they supported welfare, one can't get that kind of nationalism without using welfare to make the populace happy, at least the approved populace of the majority.

It may seem morally painful at first to see all the lazy fucks starve to death in the streets, but Social Darwinism will quickly take effect. Individuals that are most fit will survive, and those that want to survive will realize that they're going to have to fucking WORK for their shit, as much as the next hard working American. you're a maniac. you can live like that if you want to- don't ever accept any welfare or any money at all from your family or friends, because the rich can benefit from their rich families and be lazy (if you have accepted it, and you have been able to go into further education then just don't use it/put it on your CV at all). have fun starving to death. the world would be much better without you.
