I also hate when people say that kids use shooting games to help them aim better. It's pathetic that anyone would compare a video game shooter to shooting an actual gun. Any person who has ever shot a gun could tell you that, me being one of them. They are nothing alike at all.
When they used those excuses in Columbine, I was fucking amazed that people actually believed that.

Actually they use FPS simulators to train military/police personnel for real life situations. They do help in terms of the physics of shooting a gun when in certain situations.
