I dunno dude. I do hiring currently and sometimes hire IT people. Associates degrees even don't cut it. You really need a Bachelor's degree to even START being competitive in the work environment and economy today. Who set you to have such low expectations when dealing with schooling? Also seriously, anything that seems like a 'shortcut' like going to an online only school, or your GED is gonna make you look a lot worse to an employer. I'd put a resume with an Associates from UPO in the trash. A kid with a degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science from say MIT or Northeastern would shine to me. And if they had a Masters, even better.
