After watching nearly all of my friends pour hours into this year's musical, I decided that I might as well try out next year, because they'll all be doing it again and they seem to have fun.
See, my acting is good, but my voice is just...okay.

I have a lot of confidence issues (that are a bit...complicated) so while I don't think I'd have any trouble AUDITIONING, I just don't think I could ever ask anyone to help me improve my singing.

Lately  I've been singing to my computer and playing it back. I've been able to improve a bit by doing this.
Any of you out there know something I could do over the next year or so to help me improve more by myself?

You will either shine or perish on the stage, the only way to find out your fate is to try it out

That's just it. Being on stage doesn't bug me at all. I got over that fear a long time ago during drama classes.
I just can't bring myself to ask someone to be a vocal coach. I just want to know if there's any way I can improve my voice on my own.
