She's had all the checks which say she isn't pregnant, yet she isnt too underweight. Could it be related to stress, in which case - how can i sort it? She won't let me know what's going on, so its very difficult to sort out. Also, because she keeps missing her period and gets a pregnancy worry - our sex life is non-existent especially because this was all brought about by her ex..

Stress can make your period late, but just incase i would take a pregnancy test or even take 2 to be safe, and if anything see a doctor about it.

she's taken loads of pregnancy tests.. and she is gonna go onto pill so as to avoid stress.. Im just wondering whether this is well known or not.. Also, I haven't had a chance to use contraceptive, coz she had such a bad experience with previous bf

Almost everything can delay periods: pregnancy, stress, diet change, exercise habits change, illnesses, new bc, irregularity....if she took a test and it said no, wait until her next period. If that is still missing as well, and you still get a negative pregnancy result, tell her to go see a doctor, as it could be some health-related issue (like maybe diabetes or just a low iron count or something).

I was two weeks late last month, it scared my bf pretty bad. I got it, though. Anyway, some girls have really irregular periods (the pill could help w/ this) and it doesn't mean anything. It is especially common when you are under a lot of stress.
