I'm sure many of you have had the opportunity to play spore, and so far I'm pretty sure it blows. I've only been on the creature level for a few days, but the level when you play a single cell organism takes way too long, and all you do is eat stuff. I think I spent an hour there...Now I'm on land and making friends with the other species, and that's pretty fun, but I'm worried everythign takes too long. I would rather spend most of my time in the space age, because gameplay is very simple. and not very fun at theese low levels, and I think it will deter players. You can't just jump right in and enjoy yourself like in the sims.

Perhaps...I would assume so. I think the release date is on the 11th, I'm sure we'll see them pop up on the web in that week.

Way too long? The cell level was like, 10 minutes for me... The land level just an hour... 2 if you want all the cell parts... and no matter what, you're guaranteed to spend most of your time in the space age, simply due to the sheer size of it.

If you wanted it to be like the sims, I think you have been disillusioned about this game all along. It's not the sims - the same creator does not mean the same game.

How the hell did it take you an hour to complete the cell stage, you just eat the red or green things, I sped through it. And yeah, the space stage is more complex. But all stages before the space stage can be completed in less than an hour
