I buy Metal Hammer, because unlike Kerrang, it's actually worth getting. Free CD with about 15 tracks, large magazine, usually comes with something else, for £4 a month

I have a fondness for magazines. They're good for something quick to read when you don't really have the time to get into a book or just need something to keep you entertained while waiting for the plane/eating your lunch/paying homage to the porcelain god. I have a particular fondness for Glamour and Marie Claire, though I occasionally buy Cosmopolitan for the lulz.

I subscribe to Teen Vogue and Psychology Today.

I agree with what someone else had mentioned; I like magazines as quick reading material that is interesting and relevant to what's going on in right now.
