people who use bad language just demonstrate an inferior vocabulary and a bad temperament. Strong language hinders the supportive atmosphere livewire tries to offer and we should discourage it

Swear words are not an indication of a poor vocabulary, they just express what the poster is trying to say. I don't think that they should be filtered out, just moderated so that it's not excessive.
