It wasn't exactly the best thing for me. He always wanted to copy my work and would often get pissed if I didn't let him.
But, we did get to go on a field trip together, and we had the same lunch.

I've never had a significant other, but it's sickening to watch couples in class with each other.  I'm thinking of one in particular, and the girlfriend just stares at her boyfriend all googly eyed during first period

that's sort of the whole point. Copying off of each other, and no one caring.

Good, until you guys are broken up... plus it can be distracting... actually, i wish i could take my vote back. it's bad... then you dont socialize beyond that person.

For me, I've found it to be good.
We don't act like the typical couples that are all over each other all the time. We know there's a time and a place for such behaviour.
We have a rather small circle of friends, so this gives us someone to sit with in class. Also we work well together on projects etc. and share the work load equally.
I help him out on stuff, and he helps me.

Good and bad...depends on the class.

Normally I think it's bad because then you're distracted...I know if a guy I like is in my class, I will want to stare at him the whole time.  My mind won't be on the material.

I hope I live to tell the tale.

I thoroughly enjoyed being in my Chem class with with my significant other, but, at the same time, I often found myself texting him, or looking at him, instead of paying attention in class. Same with our study sessions. We'd always end up talking.
