I think college football's excessive celebration rule is ridiculously strict. Yes, it's a team game but most times they celebrate with their teammates. The Washington vs. BYU game I was just watching had this penalty called and it somewhat decided the game. I say let the players play a little more. The refs should not decide the game for them.
Also, when defense makes a big play, they often celebrate but they don't get called.
