I am wearing a light blue sweater. I want to wear boots with it, though.
Should I wear black boots? Or dark brown ones?
Or does that not match, and I shouldn't wear boots at all?

My jeans are pretty much standard blue jean color. A darker, solid wash. Not too dark, not too light.

I'd go with the brown, usually, as I'm not always a fan of solid blues and black, but black can compliment denim.
It's a whatever-you-feel-like type situation. If you plan on wearing accessories, or a jacket or scarf, maybe try and use those colours as a guide.
