He is such a douche. Seriously.

I sit a seat away from him, so I can hear him talk. He sits next to a bunch of kids he doesn't know, so obviously, he is trying to make friends with them.

He does so by dropping names.

Things I've heard him say that are supposed to get people to like him (all names changed):

"I had this teacher last year. I basically did nothing, except make fun of Lisa Brown all period. You know her, right?"

"You know Damien Smith? Yeah, I lent him my textbook today, and he forgot to give it back. That's why I don't have my homework".

etc. etc.

All he does is name drop people who are relatively well known around the school.

SERIOUSLY. I have yet to hear him have a conversation without name dropping someone.

How lame.   Agreed?
