This morning was absolutely hectic. It's my mum's birthday today and me and my sister came back from Uni for the night so we can go out for a meal and such.
Well I had a chemistry lab session from 9AM-1PM this morning and I booked my train ticket for 1:13PM last week when I thought that the labs were only until 11AM (thinking I have lots of time to spare).
Well I finished my labs at 12:40, and I literally ran across campus to get back to my halls so I can pick up my bag and run to the bus station. I then gunned it towards the bus stop and I just managed to get it. Some guy there then helps to direct me towards the station.
I get off the bus and I'm now briskly walking towards the station. I run towards the end and I get there on time exactly.
There's no train there so I think that I've missed it when I see it pull up. I realise I'm on the wrong platform so I run up the stairs to get to the other side and I just make it onto the train. It literally started moving just after I got on.
I am now totally exhausted, find my seat and then the assistant comes on the tannoy to announce the next stations whilst saying there is no catering service on board. I've not had any food since the night before I was in such a hurry, nor anything to drink and I practically collapse in my seat.
Finally I arrive and meet my sister (who came from the opposite direction on the train) and we go home and meet my mum.
I am never doing that again, I will make sure to find out exactly the time of my lectures/labs if I have any before booking any tickets. I thought I would miss the train.
So LiveWire was your morning (or day) as crazy as mine?
