So, I know there's lots of polls asking how smart people on LiveWire are, but half of the replies are people who are in grade 9 and 10, or some other reason why they aren't a normal representative for LW stats, compared to this. This one is for MOY only, because we have most likely been influenced by this forum, or came to this forum because of our smarts, or lack there of. So, how smart are you, and if you know / are, what are you planning on Studying and becoming?

I feel there are a lot of smart people around here, I've only got a 78 Average, planning on a Major in English, a Minor in French.

My gpa was 3.83 or something.  (in college)

That's not GREAT, but it's not terrible.  I completely agree with the OP about how most people think they're smart, but they've barely even begun.  Even my 3.8 gpa is worth 0 where I work.  There are people at a level I don't even know how to reach... I guess it just depends on what you feel smart is..

We don't have GPAs in Ireland. I've done the Differential Aptitude Test though. I'm in the 99th percentile in about four areas, I'm in the 80's in one, 79th percentile in another and in the 90's with the rest. My guidance counsellor has my results so I can't tell you anything more precise than my guesstimations.

I plan on studying psychology. Profession-wise, I don't have a clue.

I'm a college drop out. :((((

JK, I'M GOING BACK! I swearrrr.

I've always been told that I'm smart. I'm lazy though. Unmotivated.

I did 2 years as a pre-vet major.

I used all of my ambition in high school. You name it, I did it. Honors classes followed by the full IB program. Drama, key club, started a recycling program, tutoring, student government, cheerleading, MSPCA volunteer. Classic overachiever, really.

I don't remember any GPAs though. Sorry, kids. I've been away from school for years and my high school one was weighted anyways. It looked ridiculous cause it was way over a 4.0 based on my class levels.

I'm studying education at uni and have deferred for a year.

I am sitting on a 6.0GPA though. (In Australia it's on a scale of 1-7, with 7 being the highest)

EDIT: Because apparently smart people can make typos too!

philosophy major with german minor, will either double minor in german and music or just drop german and minor in music (i placed out of two classes in german and one in music so i have some flexibility)

i wanted to major in music but i found i wouldn't be able to finish on time. curse you 6 semesters of applied lessons

it's alright though, i like all of the things i'm studying and have either a 3.4 or 3.5 atm

I don't think my high school GPA (3.4 unweighted) is a good representation of my intelligence since I'm a bit lazy.  (I just started college and don't really have a GPA yet)

On the SAT's I got a 640 in Critical Reading (87%), 660 in Math (88%), and a 740 in Writing (98%).

I'm currently majoring in computer science, and minoring in math.

Well, on Monday during the science language class the teacher wrote the formula for the volume of a sphere on the blackboard and I remembered it even though I hadn't used it for like 7 years. Does that count for something?
