I'm just curious. I've heard some people are born with the ability to always dream lucidly. My Father for instance... all of his dreams are like a 2nd reality he says.

For those of you who don't know what Lucid dreaming is basically it's when your dreams look like what you see now... the "real" world. They look that real. And you have free will to do whatever you like. It's almost like a 2nd reality/world.

See here for more info: http://www.ld4all.com/guide.html

I had one accidentally for the first time last year and I've had about 4 since then. Gah I just wish I had them every night lol

They are really awesome, probably so intense it's up there with Sky Diving or launching out into space. It really is a unforgettable experience if you ever have one for the first time.

And PLEASE honest answers! Thanks.

A lucid - or conscious dream is a dream where you know you are dreaming. You are aware of the fact that everything around you is a dream and made up by your own mind.

All my dreams are like this, but it's not an amazing feeling, it gets old.

I'd love to have them more than a few a year. The last one I had had to do with me asking out this Junior girl while I was a Senior in high school, where her friend kept telling me to ask her out (i acted on it, but to my disappointment, she had a bf). One I had before that, during Junior year, had me kissing this girl in my 1st period, and people in my 3rd period heard about it and were patting my back.

I do it a lot.  Sometimes I'll sit and daydream with great intensity, then fall asleep.  The daydream continues into the sleep and I know I'm dreaming and can control what I do / see / feel.  It's a lot of fun.

Yeah I consider these low level Lucid Dreams. The ones I'm talking about are ones that visually look as real as the real world.

Mentally knowing that you are lucid dreaming is one thing, but going to sleep and waking up in a whole other world is something else.
