segregation in and of itself is not a bad thing, it is the context of why they are segregated that determines it. you wouldn't say that separating a prisoner from gen pop to at sig would be a bad thing if it protected that prisoner from harm.

I don't actually see why its any different to schools where they allow in only one religion. Everyone here seems to be making out that people only socialise in a school setting. I go to an all Jewish school, but I also mix with people outside of my school and my religion. Also people naturally surround themselves with people who are like them, like the same hobbies, the same music etc. Just because people go to a GLBT school it doesn't mean they will be unaware that other people exist. In fact maybe it will make it easier for them to ask the questions about what life will be like once they leave school and in fact leave them better prepared.
