because it reminds you of what happened with you. Just thank yourself you're still here because of him. Its probably because if that person goes through with it it means he gets hurt and also because he probably panics and its written all over his face, so maybe theres a tad bit of guilt that you made him feel like that too?, but think of it this way, by asking him not to go you're denying someone else the comfort to get them out of the same situation you were in.

I guess that's about right. He was the last one to call en route and it bothered me, i was saying the whole time "dont go W&&&&" and when i heard him i feel like sht now.
